I liked staying at this old-fashioned hotel because of the comfortable ambience. The location was excellent and absolutely perfect for me, near the centre. Lucky that it was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Heritage Fish & Chips, offering food to go. The room was beautifully presented and functional, included tea and coffee making equipment, a flat-screen television, and a safe. The views across the courtyard were fantastic.

Great and incredible location in downtown area, so close to all the pubs, Romney Marsh and Winchelsea and all the vintage shops and restaurants. Plus, 15 minutes drive from a sculpture gallery. The service of the venue is welcoming. Very good internet, parking on-site.

The pool area was nice and the location was fantastic and beautiful, just next door to restaurant, independant cafes, tea shops arts and craft and shops, great restaurants and places of interest in Rye.
